Ana Paulina Maestre studied Economics and International Relations at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. She works at the Pan American Development Foundation in a program focused on building trust and peace within the most conflict-affected communities in Colombia. She wrote and self-published "Israel y Palestina: Mar de Guerra, Olas de Resistencia", a book based on her career thesis. Ana Paulina explains her theory on why peace between Israel and Palestine is not possible. To spark debates and raise awareness, she has actively participated in two-panel events, accompanied by two other Marymount alumni who, from their diverse focuses and academic frameworks, joined in conversations and debates on the subject.
