MIDDLE SCHOOL
(7th - 9th Grade)

In Middle School, our students experience a fundamental stage of transition and discovery, where they build the foundation for their academic and personal growth.
Our purpose is to prepare students for the challenges of high school, helping them discover their interests and talents, and build a solid foundation of knowledge and values. Every activity, every project, and every interaction at Middle School is designed to guide students toward a future of academic and personal success, where they feel ready to face whatever challenges life throws at them.
Authentic experiences and self-management
The daily experience of a Middle School student at Marymount is enriching and diverse. This stage is characterized by the formation of crucial skills for autonomous learning, facing new responsibilities such as classroom rotation, the use of lockers and adapting to a more rigorous curriculum designed to prepare them for future challenges. Each student is accompanied on their journey towards greater independence and self-management.
Leadership
Leadership is a fundamental pillar in the integral development of Middle School students at Marymount. Through extracurricular activities, such as sports, art clubs and leadership programs, students have the opportunity to discover their talents and expand their skills. We encourage a holistic approach that focuses not only on academics, but also on building responsible and engaged citizens. Community service and environmental stewardship programs allow them to practice social responsibility, while developing leadership attributes that prepare them to make meaningful decisions and lead with integrity.

Learning process
This stage focuses on developing key skills for independent learning, such as organization, time management and problem solving. Middle School classes are dynamic and subject rotations allow them to interact with different teachers and classmates, fostering curiosity, critical thinking and teamwork. Beyond the academic content, activities such as social-emotional skills workshops strengthen their character, promote SHERR values and create an environment of respect and empathy.
