Interact Club

Interact Marymount, a partner of Rotary Club Barranquilla, enables students in grades 7-12 to learn leadership and community service skills. Founded in 2001, it is one of the largest Interact clubs in the world, with an average of 150 participants annually.

Members meet and support various foundations and communities, sharing with children and the elderly, and organizing fundraising activities. The club mainly supports Fundemabu, the social work of Marymount College, and other foundations such as Hogar San Camilo, Asilo San Antonio, Fábrica de Sonrisas, Sanar and Fundación Andrea. Under the motto "Interact Marymount Cambia Vidas" (Interact Marymount Changes Lives), students experience true happiness by helping others.

Green Club

In order to sensitize the educational community to the care of the environment and the need to protect and conserve the environment, the students of the school were invited to be part of an ecological group.

In 2015, and under the initiative of some students of 11th and 12th grade, along with teachers Ma. Esperanza Valbuena and Claudia Rincón, the Green Club was created in 2015. Through the Green Club an ecological culture is promoted, as well as activities aimed at environmental education, awareness, protection and care for the environment.

Among the activities carried out were 'Sembrando Huellas', a tree planting on campus that integrated the entire Marymount community, and a visit to the Salamanca Island Natural Park, where nature was used as a classroom to develop skills and competencies in environmental care and conservation.

MUN

The Model United Nations (MUN) is a simulation of the General Assembly and other multilateral UN bodies, in which students from institutions and universities around the world participate. This program not only seeks to involve young people in the study and discussion of global issues, but also to encourage them to develop skills that will be useful throughout their lives, such as documentation, writing, public speaking, problem and conflict resolution, consensus building, agreements and cooperation.

With the purpose of forming young leaders interested in learning more about politics, business and issues of their local and global environment, Marymount started the BAMUN Club approximately 20 years ago.

Dream Arts Club

Art Club designed to offer our student community the necessary tools for artistic enrichment in search of academic development and emotional support of the members, promoting a safe learning space free of prejudice where they have freedom of expression and allow them personal growth.

We hope that through their experience with the arts, our students will find a better relationship with themselves, their passions and the people around them.
