Expeditions and Exchanges
Internships and academic and cultural exchanges are central to Marymount Barranquilla's commitment to the development of its students' Global Competence. These formative experiences are designed to foster curiosity and interest in the world, the ability to recognize different perspectives, and the ability to communicate with diverse groups.

Marymount Barranquilla offers its students a variety of exchanges, both organized and structured by the institution, as well as those in collaboration with other schools in the RSHM network. In addition, students have the option to participate in independent programs that meet the requirements established by the school. These opportunities allow students to expand their horizons, develop a deeper understanding of other cultures and prepare them to be global citizens in today's interconnected world.
By participating in student exchanges, young people will be able to develop multicultural competencies, language skills, strengthen their sense of identity, as well as other competencies necessary for interaction in globalization.

Cross Cultural Experience at Oxford BEO 2024 London
Our seventh grade student delegation won the Best People's Choice award at the Oxford BEO 2024 competition in the United Kingdom for their outstanding theatrical performance in the Drama competition. In addition, we would like to recognize Esteban Arias, an eleventh grade student, for directing the production of the play.
