Strategic Planning Marymount Mission 2026

We are dedicated to enhancing our curriculum to nurture our students' potential and prepare them for the dynamic challenges of the 21st century. By fostering an inclusive and innovative learning environment, we empower students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity. Our commitment is to graduate students as entrepreneurial leaders, recognized for their values and global competence. 

Marymount Mission 2026 (MM2026) was built on solid pillars: to provide a quality education based on Catholic principles and a formation in values that guides its students to model these as a way of life, always and everywhere.

Our Vision: To Be The Leaders Educating Leaders

Our mission is to be and educate leaders in the Marymount Way, cultivating students who are entrepreneurial, globally competent, and exceptional in their values. We believe in teaching by example and through a meaningful pedagogy that supports students in building a life of purpose that contributes to a better society. This is a shared journey: our "Leaders Educating Leaders" philosophy means the entire Marymount community, from directors and teachers to staff and parents, learns and works together to strengthen our bonds and empower the best in each of us.

STRENGTHENING THE MARYMOUNT WAY

"In 2018, we embarked on a fascinating journey into Marymount's future; we were moving forward with major leadership and infrastructure changes. The strategic plan launched in 2018, Marymount Mission 2023, laid out a path to position Marymount from its strengths and clearly delineated areas of growth.

By the close of MM 2023, Marymount had changed: it became stronger academically, administratively, and financially.

With increased confidence from staff, students and the parent community, the guiding statements remained aspirational.

With a clear vision of the next strategic chapter, we launched Marymount Mission 2026, dedicated to bringing our vision and mission to life in the classroom by aligning our curriculum and fostering inclusive and innovative learning environments."

Goals and objectives of Marymount Mission 2026

The results of MM 2023 led to a strengthened organizational culture and growth mindset that have contributed to our cohesiveness as a learning community. The focus of the next strategic cycle centered on sustaining the formative experience promised by the Marymount Way. Deep community engagement in reflecting on the outcomes of MM 2023, coupled with a needs analysis facilitated by our external intellectual partners at the Big Question Institute (BQI), led to the identification of three key priority areas for MM 2026, aligned under one overarching goal. The overarching goal of MM 2026 is to create a SHERR values-driven educational experience that empowers students to have a transformative life project in a globalized society.

META I  

Coherencia curricular

Construir una mayor coherencia entre el Marymount Way y el currículo, a través del enfoque en el desarrollo de los atributos del Retrato del Graduado Marymount – Marymount DEVICES – a lo largo de las experiencias de aprendizaje de los estudiantes.

Los siguientes objetivos nos permitirán alcanzar la coherencia curricular:

PEDAGOGÍAS DISTINTIVAS: Aumentar el entendimiento compartido y el uso efectivo de las pedagogías distintivas como vehículo para que los estudiantes logren los impactos de aprendizaje de los Marymount DEVICES.
ALINEACIÓN DEL CURRÍCULO: Articular el currículo,  integrando las intenciones de aprendizaje con los impactos de aprendizaje de los Marymount DEVICES.
IMPACTOS DE APRENDIZAJE: Desarrollar un conjunto de estrategias de evaluación para hacer seguimiento al progreso de los estudiantes a nivel institucional en el desarrollo de los Marymount DEVICES y los impactos del aprendizaje a través de un currículo coherente y articulado.

META II 

El tiempo como recurso
Priorizar el tiempo para desarrollar la capacidad de aprendizaje e innovación para cultivar los atributos del Retrato del Graduado Marymount -Marymount DEVICES-. 

Los siguientes objetivos nos permitirán gestionar eficazmente el tiempo como recurso:

DESARROLLO DE CAPACIDAD: Aumentar el apoyo pedagógico y administrativo para que los docentes implementen un currículo coherente y articulado para que los estudiantes alcancen los impactos de aprendizaje de los Marymount DEVICES.

OPTIMIZACIÓN DEL TIEMPO: Incrementar la eficiencia en el uso del tiempo y los recursos para enfocar estratégicamente los esfuerzos hacia el logro de los impactos de aprendizaje de los Marymount DEVICES.

META III 

Canales de comunicación más sólidos

Mejorar la comunicación con las partes interesadas para desarrollar un entendimiento compartido y responsabilidad de alcanzar las metas de MM 2026.

Los siguientes objetivos nos ayudarán a fortalecer nuestros canales de comunicación:

ENTENDIMIENTO DEL MM 2026: Desarrollar un entendimiento compartido entre los miembros de la comunidad sobre los principales elementos y fundamentos de MM 2026.

COMUNIDAD DE APRENDIZAJE CONECTADA: Fortalecer las herramientas y canales de comunicación con los padres sobre la responsabilidad compartida de apoyar a sus hijos en la adquisición de los impactos del aprendizaje de los Marymount DEVICES.

APRENDIZAJE EXTENDIDO: Diversificar las estrategias encaminadas a extender el aprendizaje al hogar con el fin de  fortalecer la participación de los padres en el apoyo a los impactos del aprendizaje de los Marymount DEVICES.
