Leaders That Make Their Mark
It was a memorable celebration at Marymount, where we honored Leaders Who Leave Their Mark. As part of the school's 70th anniversary, alumni gathered to celebrate their achievements, share memories, and reconnect, strengthening the bonds of our community.

Alumni Anniversaries
These are very special gatherings in which, as the Marymount community, we celebrate the graduating classes commemorating their five-year anniversaries. They are moments to return to the school, reconnect with friends, relive memories, and return to the place where their life projects began to take shape. Each anniversary is an opportunity to strengthen the bonds that unite us, honor our shared history, and celebrate that the Marymount Way lives on in every alumna, regardless of the passage of time.

The Leaders Spotlight
This is a section to recognize our alumni who have excelled around the world, not only in their professional areas but also for their leadership, values and positive actions that constitute a way of life.
Are you an alum and would like to share your accomplishments with our Marymount community? Send your information to alma.abello@marymountbq.edu.co

Yamile Slebi
Class of 1986
Class of 1986 alumna Yamile Slebi, together with her son, made it possible for Colegio Sister Johanna to be chosen to receive the support of Community Bots, a U.S. NGO that brings STEM and robotics education to underserved communities worldwide. This transformative program equips the students and teachers of Colegio Sister Johanna with hands-on skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Robotics, while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and innovation. We are very proud of our alumna Yamile, who created this meaningful connection, reflecting the true spirit of the Marymount Way.
