Model United Nations
The United Nations Model (MUN) is the simulation of the General Assembly and the multilateral bodies of the United Nations, in which students of many schools worldwide participate. This program not only involves young people in the study and discussion of global topics, but also fosters in them the development of useful skills such as documentation, writing, oratory, problem and conflict resolution, building of consensus, agreements and cooperation throughout their lives.
With the purpose of forming young leaders, interested in learning more about politics, business and local and global problems, Marymount started the BAMUN Club approximately 20 years ago. Today students between grades 5th and 12th participate in the Club. They get together three times a week under the direction of a teacher coordinator to discuss current topics in the political and social arena, the space is open so that they can share opinions and positions in reference to each situation. At the same time they are given the tools to improve in their narrative, analytic and speaker preparation. Students participate in different conferences that take place locally and in different models that take place both nationally and internationally.

Since 2000, the MUN Club organizes the BAMUN model which has been very successful to position itself as one of the best models nationally and annually has the participation of local, national and international schools. This school year BAMUN XVIII took place with the participation of 14 local and national schools in which more than 200 students participated. The following were the committees that took place during BAMUN XVIII:
- DISEC: The Disarmament and International Security Committee
- CPCJC: Commission for Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice
- UNDP: The United Nations Development Programme
- Security Council: The Security Council has the primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security.
- World Summit: The World Summit, unlike a traditional UN committee, functions under the responsibilities and actions of Heads of Government.
- UNHCT: The United Nations High Commission on Technology
