MACC Protocol

The main purpose of the MACC Club is to offer the community of students of the educational institution, from preschool to 12th grade, sports, artistic, global competition and entrepreneurial leadership activities.

MACC General Considerations


1. Students who wish to be part of the MACC Club must register through the website once the registration agreement and policies have been read and accepted by their parents or guardian.

2. Annually, the MACC Club establishes the requirements to carry out extracurricular activities, in accordance with the academic activities of the Marymount Corporation.

3. The monthly Club membership fee is included in the student's pension billing.

4. Students may participate in a maximum of two (2) sports and / or cultural disciplines, as long as the training and / or practice times are not simultaneous.

5. Students may join a MACC activity as long as there is space available.

6. Students must act with respect, and following the discipline guidelines of the Marymount Corporation, inside and outside the institution.

7. The student must be enrolled in MACC in order to participate in any of the Club's activities.

8. The process of joining the MACC Club is for the school year, however, they can be withdrawn through the website in the month of December, only.

9. By joining the MACC Club, the parent gives their consent for the student to participate in activities, friendly games and local tournaments and to be transported on the institution buses or through any company assigned by the institution to attend their activity, training or match away from the main venue.

10. The invitation to any activity, friendly game and / or tournament that involves leaving during the academic day must be authorized by the parent or responsible guardian and by the Section Directorate.

11. The student enrolled in MACC may participate in local activities, games and / or tournaments and act on behalf of the institution.

12. Students selected to represent the institution in events outside the city, related to Sports Clubs, Model United Nations and Congresses, or when these events interfere with classes, must meet the following requirements:

· Not having more than two subjects in insufficient.
· Have a Discipline and Responsibility of 75.
· Not be involved in a disciplinary process with serious or serious offenses.
· Meet at Paz y Salvo with Pensions and Other Collections.
· The chosen student will have the opportunity to make up the evaluations made during their absence.
· The participation of the students will be authorized by the Directorate of the Section to which it belongs.

13. The parents will bear the costs of their child for any national and international trip (accommodation, tickets, food, transportation, etc.).

14. The expenses of the companions and trainers for national and international trips will be covered by the parents of the students (accommodation, tickets, food, transportation, etc.).

15. Students who participate in an activity, tournament at the national and / or international level must sign an Act of Behavior Commitment.

16. During the final exam period sports games are not held and the club suspends activities. These days are later replenished on dates announced in advance.

Sports club - MACC


1. The Sports Club for being part of MACC is governed, additionally, by all its general guidelines, being able to participate in national and international tournaments.

2. All athletes must acquire, at the time of registration, their competition uniform assigned by the Marymount Corporation, in order to act on behalf of the institution.

3. The athlete must be registered with the club at least fifteen (15) days before the date of the tournament in order to participate and represent the institution.

4. The athlete must have a minimum attendance of 80% on the date of the tournament and / or the date of the competition match, in order to participate.

5. Membership in Club MACC includes participation in the Marymount Cup and some local intercollegiate / interclub tournaments, does not include uniform costs. Karate, graduation costs not included - exam and belt.

6. Sports club members are recognized for outstanding athletes at their 6th grade ceremony and 12th grade graduation ceremony.

Club MUN (Model United Nations) - MACC


1. The Model United Nations for being part of MACC is governed, additionally, by all its general guidelines.

2. As members of the MUN (Model United Nations) club, students in grades 5-12 will have the opportunity to plan, organize and participate in the Marymount Corporation United Nations model, BAMUN, in addition to other models. local, national and international, as long as the student meets the requirements stipulated for representations of the institution.

3. The cost of registration of the institution and the companion to participate in local and national models, will be assumed by the Marymount Corporation, through MACC.

· In the first semester, MACC will assume the cost of the student's registration to participate in BAMUN and in another local or national model.
· In the second semester, MACC will assume the cost of two (2) registrations per student for local and national models.

4. The student who wants to participate in a third model, in the current semester, must submit his request to be approved by the Coordinator of MUN, in addition to assuming 100% of the costs and registration.

5. Members of Club MUN receive certification for participation in BAMUN, each time they participate, and in grade 12 recognition is given for their years of permanence and membership in the Club.

Club INTERACT - MACC


1. The INTERACT Club for being part of MACC is governed, additionally, by all its general guidelines.

2. Being members of the INTERACT Club, students from 7th to 12th grade will have the opportunity to participate in activities of a social nature, organized by the group.

3. The weekly meetings are established by the Board of Directors headed by its President.

4. INTERACT members are recognized for their participation during the year when the student remains for the entire assigned school year and participating in 80% of the activities carried out (50% activities and 30% meetings).
