The 2nd grade students received a virtual visit from the author Josh Funk, who did a read aloud of his book "Not the Three Little Pigs".

Afterwards, the students asked the author questions related to the writing process. Finally, Josh shared his strategies to create new characters in the story, the importance of the checking and editing process, and how it is essential to strengthen the writing process in order to be a good reader.
