Paola Buendía García, class of 1993,is the Executive Vice President at ANDI, the country's leading national business association. Paola oversees departmental management offices and sectorial chambers around the country; she also directs the areas of international affairs, multilateral commerce, and industry. Paola studied Economics at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, followed by a specialization in Government, Management, and Public Affairs from Universidad Externado de Colombia and Columbia University in New York. She also has a Master's in International Relations and Foreign Affairs from Columbia University. She worked in New York at Standard Poors. Upon returning to Colombia, she worked in different public administration roles at the National Planning Agency (DNP) and the Presidency of the Republic. Paola is a Marymount Legacy, the daughter of Miss Lissy García also a Marymount graduate who worked at the school for 40 years."It is undeniable that the values and academic formation that I received at Marymount have been the foundation of my personal and professional growth.
