Desde su fundaci\u00f3n, el Colegio Marymount Barranquilla ha sido reconocido por educar a l\u00edderes que dejan huella en la sociedad. Son encuentros muy especiales en los que, como comunidad Marymount, celebramos a las promociones que conmemoran sus quinquenios de graduaci\u00f3n. Yamile Slebi<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Class of 1986<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Class of 1986 alumna Yamile Slebi, together with her son, made it possible for Colegio Sister Johanna to be chosen to receive the support of Community Bots, a U.S. NGO that brings STEM and robotics education to underserved communities worldwide.<\/em> This transformative program equips the students and teachers of Colegio Sister Johanna with hands-on skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Robotics, while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and innovation. We are very proud of our alumna Yamile, who created this meaningful connection, reflecting the true spirit of the Marymount Way.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laura graduated from Universidad Javeriana with an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid. She is also a mother of two and a partner at an ESG law firm. Laura Garc\u00eda’s passion for her work, family, and alma mater radiated in every word of the interview conducted by MBSN Marymount students, Editor-in-Chief Sarah G\u00f3mez, and Space & Tech Co-Head Isabella Zambrano. She started the interview by emphasizing Marymount’s significant role in shaping her achievements, concluding with advice for students about to embark on a new journey\u2014life beyond graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Giselle Leal, a member of the Class of 2004, has forged a path as a Clinical Neuropsychologist and is the visionary behind Insight Neurocognitive and Behavioral Center. Beyond her professional achievements, she embraces the role of a dedicated mother to a remarkable 9-year-old boy. Renowned for her industriousness, she firmly believes in consistently going beyond expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Siblings Cristian and Natalia Farah, class of 2009 and 2022 respectively, are the founders and owners of Let’s Dough It! It’s inspiring to see how their personal experiences and dedication led to the creation of such a meaningful brand. Let’s Dough It started with the aim of producing desserts specifically tailored for people with diabetes, as a way to honor their grandmother who passed away from the disease and their father who is living with it<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Copa Huellas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es el torneo deportivo anual liderado por los exalumnos del Colegio Marymount, en el que exalumnos, padres de familia y staff Marymount compiten y comparten en un espacio de integraci\u00f3n, deporte y sana competencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
